I was late to the party on this one, having only started watching in 2016. It's a Let's Play-type series, in which YouTuber Ross Scott plays Half Life in its entirety. However, the guy plays the character of Gordon Freeman himself instead of doing gaming commentary. The whole thing's presented as being in-universe, with Freeman questioning the insane game logic he has to deal with.
The series takes forever to update. Months, sometimes a year will go by with no new episodes. I was lucky enough to catch it right after the finale had already aired.
...or so I thought. In April 2017 Ross dropped the ultimate reverse-April-fools-day by launching a second season focusing on Half Life 2:
Now about that release schedule thing. See, that was seven years ago, and the new season is only halfway through Ravenholm! Thankfully there's an incredible backlog of 94 episodes and specials in the playlist, so you got a lot to re-watch and crack up at that one joke you forgot.
But I've hyped it enough. Go watch it and post your favorite moments.
