Jonny's Place is an online community of message boards and game servers. We are a group of gamers, anime fans, and other such adjacent hobbyists. Our forums are chill, eccentric, and laid back. There's no need to chase karma or self-censor, just be yourself!
Originally founded in 2002 by Jonny Axehandle, the scene thrived. Regulars came and went. For over thirteen years, JP was a place where everyone knew your name. But as we grew older, and as the Internet evolved, the old guard drifted apart. Gamers migrated to discord and other social platforms, and the desire for independent message boards was gone. In 2016, Jonny's Place was closed.
But during the time since, the Internet has become increasingly censored, hostile, and corporatized. We decided it was time for a return. What you see here is a reboot, a re-launch, a re-invention, of that old-time message board where no tech bro overlords can push you around.
In other words Social Media turned out to be a huge crapshoot so now we're doing this again.
Now go grab yourself a Cherry Inferno, fire up those emulators, redownload Left 4 Dead 2, blast Bad Religion, and come party like it's 2009 again!
